Lot of time for the manager and his players... fully deserved and with two games to go... on par for me with what ol' Big Ead done at Forest ... brilliant stuff

Re: Well done Leicester City...
Amazing achievement. Great to see a club that hasn't 'bought' the title win it - something that seemed impossible in the Premier League era.

Maybe even more impressive than Forest in 1978 as back then it was possible for smaller clubs to challenge - Ipswich, Derby, even QPR came close one year.

So is this a sign of a more democratic Premier League? Or just of mediocrity in general? Or was it just one of those weird flukes that had to come around sometime by the law of averages?

Good for football that money alone has not won the title. Not sure if the playing field has been level but gives a few more teams hope including us.

Main thing is Tottingham performed to type by failing at the death :-)

Re: Well done Leicester City...
Well played in every respect to Leicester City Football Club and Claudio Ranieri.

Every club should now have fresh hope that it IS possible to succeed in the PL with nothing more than passion, desire, and a good scouting policy.

The fact that Spurs' failed is just a lovely, lovely bonus.

not sure we needed a new thread.

But reviving the Raniere a shit appointment thread will do.

Wonder if they would have had such public support without such a likeable Manager. Great achievement but I'm gonna stick a fiver on them going down next season!

Congratulations to Leicester City and Mark Selby too (Who I hate) , Leicester must be buzzing tonight and Knowing the young nutters there they will all be getting absolutely peased.

They deserved the title 100% and I hope they enjoy their accomplishment.

It is a terrific acheivement and something the likes of which we probably won't witness again in our lifetimes.

I think I'll stop short of celebrating with them though.

Yeah. Someone bump that as I stuck up for Ranieri and called it a coup for Leicester.

Few WHOpoints for me, and some serious embarrassment for a few.

Huth and Morgan are dirty bastards who seldom kick a ball, they are a dirty team and roll on next season when we turn them over.

Re: Well done Leicester City...
It's actually gutting in a way because if it were the usual suspects Top 4/5 our close run at the Champions League would probably have been achievement of the year. Typical eh!!

Re: Well done Leicester City...
Fantastic achievement, great for the game, breaking the monopoly of the big-spending sides, etc, etc.

However, a few things take the gloss off it for me:

1. A good deal of thuggery, especially from Huth and Morgan.
2. A good deal of diving and cheating, especially from Vardy.
3. A massive amount of luck with injuries.

Still, congratulations to them, as long as they realise it's a one-off and they'll be lucky to make top 6 next year.
